Dental Depot was started
in Oklahoma City in 1978

What started as a private practice with nine chairs in a renovated duplex in Oklahoma City’s historic Linwood neighborhood has grown into a group practice spanning 20+ offices across three states, with more to come in 2020. In fact, Dental Depot is one of the largest employers in the state, with more than 500 Oklahomans at last count, and more than 200 employees in Texas and Arizona. The business has been family-owned and operated by the Ashmore family since the beginning and the owners continue to practice here today.

At Dental Depot we’re not just a team, we’re family. When you join Dental Depot, you will be welcomed into a team-oriented, non-corporate atmosphere where you can focus on providing your patients with excellent care.

Office Management

Dental Depot’s office managers and assistant manager are responsible for ensuring their assigned offices operate efficiently. These leadership teams oversee daily office operations, solve conflicts, provide consistent feedback and guidance for team members, mediate patient concerns and more.

Business Office Assistant (BOA)

BOAs are the first friendly faces our patients see when they enter our offices. They are responsible for checking-in patients and scheduling appointments, as well as keeping patient records up-to-date. As a BOA, you’ll build positive relationships and communicate information between our patients and the rest of the team.

Patient Care Coordinator (PCC)

Our PCCs act as interpreters between dentists and their patents, transforming proposed treatment options into actionable services. PCC’s use insurance breakdowns and fee schedules to determine the estimated benefits a patient will receive so they get the care they need with the financial flexibility they deserve. As a PCC, you will work closely with both the front office and clinical staff to ensure patients receive the care they need, are billed appropriately, and understand their benefits and treatment plan.

Patient Account Service Rep. (PASR)

PASRs help patients get the most from their dental benefits and are responsible for collecting payments and billing insurances. As a PASR, you’ll develop conflict resolution skills and learn to work with insurance companies and Medicaid to ensure claims are filed and payments received.

Leadership in Training (LIT)

LITs are trained across all positions so they have a better understanding of what each position does and how they work together. This prepares them for becoming a leader in our offices and better equips them to make financial, clinical and human resource decisions.

Our Buildings

Dental Depot currently has around 40 locations across four states (Oklahoma, Texas, Arizona, and Missouri) and even more locations in the works.

Our buildings are warm and inviting. The clock towers, railroad crossing arms and signs, and large-scale trains in front, welcome kids of all ages. Whether it is a train running from room to room, or our amazing collection of memorabilia, there is always something interesting to capture peoples’ attention.

The trains started with small models running through the office. Later, exterior trains were added. They are built from scratch by our facilities team, and every one is unique.
