Dr. Tara Stanford, DMD, is a devoted and accomplished general dentist at Dental Depot. She completed her undergraduate studies at Oklahoma State University before earning her dental degree from the Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine. Dr. Stanford’s passion for dentistry can be traced back to her childhood when she aspired to become a dentist after her own positive experiences with dental care. This passion only grew stronger as she got older, leading her to shadow her former pediatric dentist as she pursued her career in dentistry. Today, Dr. Stanford is dedicated to providing high-quality dental care and helping patients achieve and maintain healthy smiles.

In 1978, Navy veteran Dr. Glenn Ashmore opened the first Dental Depot office in Oklahoma City’s historic Linwood neighborhood as a small, family-owned private practice. Although that building burned down in 2001, during the construction of the second Oklahoma City Dental Depot location, community support helped us recover quickly. More than 45 years later, we’re proud to have just as many locations throughout Texas, Arizona, Missouri, and Oklahoma, with 25 here in the Sooner State alone!

Best cleaning I have ever gotten. The staff is super friendly and it didn’t hurt at all. I would recommend this place to anyone! I can’t say enough about all of the staff at this location, extremely professional and compassionate. They fit me into their schedule when 4 other dentists turned me away on a Friday afternoon for one of the worst toothaches I’ve ever had. I couldn’t imagine going the whole weekend in that amount of pain and they made sure that didn’t happen, they went above and beyond when others refused just because it was a Friday. So happy this location was opened and staffed with people who truly care about the people they see.
I’ve been terribly afraid of the dentist since a bad expiration almost 10 years ago. Ended up having an emergency. They got me in quickly and took care of me. They eased my fears and understood my anxiety. They went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable. Made me wish I hadn’t have put everything off for so long. I will be back!
