Dental Depot’s dentist office in Norman –near the heart of downtown–opened in 2012 when the company decided to start expanding out of the Oklahoma City metro area and into Sooner territory. Since then, Dental Depot has been providing both local residents and students of the University of Oklahoma with comprehensive dental care services at an affordable price. The signature train station design of Dental Depot is easy to spot at the corner of W. Main St. and Flood Ave., east of Norman High School, and easily accessible via Main St. or W Gray St.
This proximity to downtown Norman and OU has provided the office countless opportunities to get out and give back to the community, which is an important aspect of Dental Depot’s overall mission. Led by Drs. Kellie Ophus, Natalie Zhang, and Minh Ton, the team at Dental Depot of Norman has enjoyed participating in events such as the Norman Christmas Parade, the annual Norman Earth Day Festival and the Special Olympics Winter Games at the University of Oklahoma.
Dr. Ophus graduated from the University of Oklahoma and its College of Dentistry. Her three favorite things are church, family and soccer!
After completing her undergraduate degree at the University of Oklahoma, Dr. Natalie Zhang went on to graduate from the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry. Dr. Zhang enjoys her profession for it’s ability to improve a patient’s quality of life by improving oral health.
Outside of the office, Dr. Zhang enjoys playing with her dogs, painting, cooking, baking, and spending time with her family and friends. She is also the first dentist in her family!
Dr. Minh Ton is a graduate of Oklahoma City University and recently from the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry. Dr. Ton was particularly interested in dentistry for the artistic opportunities it provides, allowing her to sculpt and shape a patient’s smile into one they can feel confident showing off.
Outside of the office, Dr. Ton continues her artistic expression, spending her time crafting polymer clay miniatures.

In 1978, Navy veteran Dr. Glenn Ashmore opened the first Dental Depot office in Oklahoma City’s historic Linwood neighborhood as a small, family-owned private practice. Although that building burned down in 2001, during the construction of the second Oklahoma City Dental Depot location, community support helped us recover quickly. More than 45 years later, we’re proud to have just as many locations throughout Texas, Arizona, Missouri, and Oklahoma, with 25 here in the Sooner State alone!

This is probably the best dental experience I have had! From the moment I walked in, I felt welcome and comfortable. The entire staff was friendly, and everyone who spoke to me tried to make me feel at ease. While I was here, there was a customer with a scheduling difficulty and an employee who had to leave for a personal emergency, but the entire staff handled things with grace and aplomb! They did their jobs as if compassion is their business! I will definitely be back!
Wonderful staff. Especially when they were taking x-rays of my mouth she was being so gentle and understood I couldn't open my mouth very wide for the x-rays. I love Dental Depot and yes I will be bringing my son to them along with my soon to be husband. After we get me taking care of he's next then our little one will be next too.
