Dr. David Schwartz has been practicing oral surgery for some three decades. Dr. Schwartz credits a college friend and his oral surgeon with helping him get his start in dentistry. When Dr. Schwartz’s friend broke his jaw, the oral surgeon allowed Dr. Schwartz, a college student at the time, to shadow him throughout his friend’s treatment, including the surgery. Not only did the experience lead the future oral surgeon toward his career path, but he also became a mentor to the future doctor. When he’s not helping patients, Dr. Schwartz enjoys spending time with his wife and their Australian Shepherd Riley, playing golf and cheering on the Pittsburgh Steelers.
